Ghost Peppers are from the Nepal Mountians of India. If you ever saw India Jones and the Temple of Doom, you have to eat waht the villagers give you. So in real life in India they give you Ghost Pepper Chile so you puke it up and never come back again. The "Ghost" is what you are supposed to turn into when you die from eating the Chile ----- thats all folks !!! Why eat ghost peppers when all they do is make you puke ? My sauce tastes great, took a year to develop and I grow my own ghost peppers too !!! " Don't ask me why I am growing Ghost Peppers, because I have no idea". It could be a subconcious need for me to satisfy my "-est" which is having something in this case that is the hot-"est". I have been eating chile my whole life starting with canned Hormel Chile. My next step up was making my own chile with Carol Shelby's texas chile mix. Now I add ghost peppers to my pot of chile to give it that extra kick. Some times I just drink from the bottle of sauce I have with beer. What good is food if you cannot taste it ? |

A small local distillery called dryfly may work with me to produce a ghost pepper vodka early next year. I am trying also to work with Ben and Jerry to make a ghost pepper ice cream and finally one of my buddies who owns a pizzeria called Pudge Brother may make a ghost pepper pizza to enjoy with Ice Beer. |

The only ghost peppers I have been able to get from India are smoked and make me want to puke
they tasted so bad. I put a few peppers into a blender with tomato base and it was horrible and
almost made me puke. I always add a free smoked ghost pepper to every order just to let people
know how gross they are.
How can you grow the hottest pepper in the world in Seattle? Well we just got by this year with the shortest summer on record, so growing outdoors is out of the question. My hydroponic and dirt setup is running well indoors with some residual outdoor light. Right now I have about $2,000.00 investing in lighting, fertilizer, ppm meters, ph meters, light timers etc. I use all natural fertilizer not like most other insane hot sauces. Just to let everyone know the latest cure for Ghost Pepper Burn is to pack your mouth with Sour Cream. Never use water, it only lifts up the oil based capsacin and moves it around in your mouth.
